Update on the parental situation: It's gotten way better; time always makes things better. Although she doesn't remember stating the whole "Don't bother going to college" thing. D: ahh well.

So I can't remember if I've said this before, but I've been spent much of the past two weeks trying to get rid of this "making videos" flail-ness. I've actually come up with some great ideas for a few songs for music videos:

• "Antidote" by The Hives - I'm thinking of having an urban setting, it's frantic, tough, and unpredictable. A girl is trying to leave her boyfriend who is quite controlling. What a simple summary, eh? However, it's not really completely his fault for the way he acts, she's somewhat at fault too. The idea in my head is pretty rough, especially since I know it's gonna be crack-worthy.
• "24 Hours" by The Sounds - For some odd reason, I keep thinking of a guy and girl in a club who clearly like each other, but are too shy to show each other how they feel. If only I could get the actual band to be in the video. The beginning of the video starts with them performing, and it's pretty epic in my mind. A lot of close-up shots, which I think is awesome because Maja is so freaking pretty and awesome. Anyway, yeah, guy and girl too shy to express how they feel about each other, at a club, yeah. xD

Yeah, I love my Swedish bands. :D
I have the urge to come up with a music video to a Death Cab for Cutie song...
