I finally got around to watching the Top Design Season Two Finale, and much to my surprise, THE HOUSES THEY DESIGNED WERE RIGHT IN MY CITY. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, WHY DOESN'T ANYONE KNOW THIS/WHY DOESN'T ANYONE TELL ME THESE THINGS! I DRIVE BY THOSE HOUSES/DUPLEXES ALMOST EVERY DAY! (/end caps!frenzy) Now I'm wondering if they still kept the contestants designs in the homes, or took out all the stuff and repainted everything. :( I'm thinking the developers would have jacked up the prices for those particular homes if they did indeed leave everything that the designers did intact. Or maybe they made the homes model homes, which would freak some people out because it's pretty semi-upscale, if not upscale/out-of-the-box amazing/"oh my goodness, I want this house! This very house!" sort of model home.
Please tell me there are people, other than me, who watch Top Design and can rant with!
Also, Nathan, Ondine, and Preston did ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AND AMAZING WORK! Their overall houses seemed great.
My favorite part (from my first viewing):
Photo: Top Design, BravoTV.comNathan's painting, and in a dining room nonetheless! Oh, and spiffy chandelier. :)
If you haven't watched the finale, or haven't watched the show, GO WATCH IT!
And now, I will get back to finishing my college apps. :(
